The Company

RS. YARSI is the official teaching hospital of the Faculty of Medicine at YARSI University, Jakarta. It serves as a center for both medical education and advanced healthcare services in Indonesia. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, RS. YARSI accommodates 450 inpatient beds across six classes, including Presidential Suites, and provides 35 outpatient clinics in the main building, 15 additional clinics in the Annex, 10 executive dental clinics, and 80 regular dental units. The hospital also includes guest house accommodations for patients’ families and offers round-the-clock radiology and pathology services.

The Challenges

This digital initiative was launched in response to a range of operational and service challenges:

  • Limited Online Representation: The hospital lacked a modern, informative, and trustworthy digital presence for both patients and medical professionals.
  • Inefficient Information Delivery: Visitors struggled to find details about services, facilities, or specific doctors due to the absence of dynamic content.
  • No Digital Consultation Infrastructure: With increased demand for telehealth during and after the pandemic, there was no existing web-based telemedicine system in place.
  • Generic CMS Limitations: Existing content management systems couldn’t accommodate the hospital’s complex and custom operational needs.

The Solution

We developed a fully customized digital ecosystem to transform RS. YARSI's online and clinical experience:

  • Corporate Website Development: A responsive, accessible website with a professional design and multilingual capabilities was created to showcase the hospital’s services, departments, news, and facilities.
  • Doctor Profile Directory: Each medical professional has a dedicated profile page featuring specialties, working schedules, educational background, and a photo, allowing patients to make informed choices.
  • Tailored-Made CMS: A custom-built Content Management System was developed to allow RS. YARSI staff to manage departments, schedules, doctor profiles, and internal content dynamically without technical barriers.
  • Web-Based Telemedicine Module: We implemented a secure online consultation platform that allows patients to book and attend remote consultations with YARSI doctors, complete with medical history tracking and document upload features.
